Working with the Team
Project Summary: This page highlights projects in which I collaborated as a co-author or team member, contributing to interdisciplinary initiatives involving materials characterization, geopolymers, and biological remediation strategies.
Key Contributions:
- Developed the experimental design for the synthesis and testing of geopolymeric materials for waste immobilization, including the proposal of empirical mathematical models
- Participated in the determination of fungi found in 30-year closed containers from the Goiania radiological accident
- Contributed to the discussion on uranium adsorption via biochars and activated biochars in radioactive treatment studies
- Assisted in the discussion of the effects of using thermal plasma for solid radioactive waste degradation
Techniques Involved: FTIR, SEM/EDS, gamma spectroscopy, geopolymer synthesis, ICP OES
